Chiang Mai is a perfect place to start your Digital Nomad journey. There is already a large community of nomads around which makes it easy to meet new people and fall back to a large pool of shared wisdom about where to eat, where to work of where to live.
If you did a little bit of research, you probably found that there are a hand full of apartments that are getting recommended a lot by fellow nomads. Most of them start at around THB10.000 per month for a studio apartment though and information on cheaper accommodation is scarce.
I’ve compiled a list of decent apartments under THB10.000 that I found myself and that were recommended by my friends or people on the #nomads Slack chat.
Living in Chiang Mai doesn’t have to be expensive. You are not here to spend all day in your apartment anyway and every baht saved on rent is another baht available for the nicer things in life like a relaxing thai massage, a scooter rental or eating out at fancy places. 🙂
